1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of The Way of Enlightenment (the “app”). By creating an account or otherwise using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. The service

The app is a companion to a three-book enlightenment series. It provides a guided journey of forty steps, a library of chapters and teachings, personal reflection and journal tools, and a range of further-study modules — all free. The complete book manuscripts and structured flagship courses are available to purchase separately through the in-app shop. The app is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

3. Your account and content

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. The reflections, journal entries, and other content you create are yours; you retain ownership of them. You are responsible for the content you submit and agree not to store anything unlawful, harmful, or infringing of others’ rights.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the app in any way that breaches applicable law or regulation.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the app, other accounts, or the platform’s systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the app, or submit harmful or automated traffic.
• Reproduce, resell, or redistribute the book manuscripts or other copyrighted material from the app outside the rights granted by your purchase.
• Misuse the testimonial or contact features to send spam or misleading content.

5. Purchases and Amazon links

The app’s core journey, library, reflections, journal, and further-study modules are free. Optional paid content — including the complete book manuscripts and structured flagship courses — is available for one-time purchase through the in-app shop. Purchases are processed by Base44 Payments and are subject to the payment provider’s terms. Some modules link to Amazon so you can source physical items; the app is a participant in the Amazon Associates programme and may earn a commission on qualifying purchases. Transactions completed on Amazon are governed by Amazon’s own terms and policies.

6. Not professional advice

The app offers spiritual, contemplative, and educational content drawn from a book series and supporting study. Nothing in the app constitutes medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. References to foods, herbs, minerals, crystals, yoga, and the body are provided for study and reflection. Always consult a qualified professional before making changes to your health, diet, or treatment.

7. Intellectual property

The app’s design, text, diagrams, and the book manuscripts are protected by copyright and remain the property of their respective owners. You may use the app for your own personal, non-commercial study. Submitting a testimonial grants the app a non-exclusive licence to display your words, attributed to the name you provide, on the app’s public pages.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the app and its authors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app. The app is offered without warranty of any kind, including any guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Account deletion

You may delete your account at any time from the in-app Settings page, which permanently removes your reflections, journal, and personal content. If you wish to close your account and need assistance, please use the contact page.

10. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above will reflect any change. Continuing to use the app after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
